I, on the other hand...I cheat. I skirmish until my shocktroopers are very high leveled (They don't have flamethrowers yet...ALMOST.) Because my shocks are my main line of defeating stuff..
TO BE GOOD AT VALKYRIA CHRONICLES:
Skirmish until your fingers fall off, and then play with your palms. Sound hard? Your troops will be doing all the work.

Also, for anyone who reads this comment and needs help:
Get the three radiators down to one hit left to kill, and then end your turn.
After that, when it's your turn again, make sure you kill the radiators no matter what. Selvaria will come out once you kill two of the three, but since it's YOUR turn, she can't act until it's the enemy's turn. But, if you destroy that last one before your turn ends, no Selvaria to worry about.
